MAKING YOUR OWN FONT USING FONTFORGE

If you want to create your font without buying any commercial software like Fontlab, Fontcreator, etc. There is a free software to make your own font, it's called "Fontforge". This software was licensed with Free Software License.
To get Fontforge, just go to http://fontforge.sf.net. Originally its made for UNIX operating system, but you still can run it in Windows OS by using Cygwin. If you're using Ubuntu operating system, you can install it simply by typing this command :
$ sudo apt-get install fontforge
To open Fontforge from Ubuntu, open Applications menu, and find Graphics > Fontforge.
Fontforge User Interface may very similliary like old Windows application user interface, not like the modern application, which bring you the modern user interface. But this software is not to bad to use, it's no hard to draw each glyph by using Fontforge. You can import the glyph from SVG format if you want.
